The noise problem is worse when it comes to the number 2 activity. This causes anxiety and embarrassment to the users; ultimately leads to longer usage and/or constipation. For more severe cases like my sister and my mom, they will leave the mall, hold it, and use the restroom at home. We estimate their a typical mall lost several million of sales due to the wait of female restrooms and customers left the mall to use a more private restroom. It will be too costly and economically unsound to build private restrooms for women. On the other hand, we can place sound proof stalls in it, but these stalls do not have enough ventilation and they do not allowing women passing toilet paper underneath which may cause them to faint (not ventilate enough, no fresh air) or stuck inside (no passing toilet paper).
